How it all started

MESH was born in 2016, but its roots began in the ‘50s, when the grandfather of the founders, José Martins Barbosa, started to manufacture innovating machinery and tools for the jewellery industry.

After creating his own jewelry workshop, he developed new technologies and production techniques that were disruptive for the time.
Inheriting this vision and passion for jewelry, the two brothers, Tiago and João, belonging to the 3rd generation, emerges MESH with current and irreverent designs.

Our jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver with 18k gold plated and certified by the INCM - Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, S.A.
All the silver used as raw material for the manufacture of the pieces is of recycled origin.

The oxidation of silver, loss of shine and the wear of the gold bath are natural processes due to daily use, which have no relation to the quality of the piece.

We advise you to avoid contact with water and hygiene products that contain alcohol such as perfume, creams, etc.
In any case, the loss of color from baths also depends on other factors, such as the pH of skin type and sweat.

The jewelry should always be kept safe in our gift boxes or in a dry place without exposure to the sun, for a better conservation of the pieces.
